I'm going to college soon, and I'm split between Psychology and Engineering as major options. I would probably love to go into research in Social Psychology or a related field, and I know for that it's best to have a P.H.D in Social Psychology, or to a lesser extent, a Masters. The problem is, a Bachelor's in Psych doesn't get much job oppurtunities on it's own, let alone a good enough wage to pay for grad school. My idea is to do a degree in Chemical Engineering, and a minor in psych, get a decent paying job, save up for grad school, and apply to a graduate program in Social Psych. Is this feasible or reasonable? Or will it be nigh impossible without a major in psych?
