The example is indicative of what the person does during almost every conversation. They will constantly cut off someone when they are speaking just to repeat what the person is about to say or what they have just said. What your answer suggests about him/her giving their personal opinion is just the problem. It is not their personal opinion they seem to never have anything to add to the conversation it is always just a variation on what people want to here, and have just said. They also have a very short attention span, making it almost impossible to explain anything to them, and when you try and explain something they either answer repeating what you are saying,and then are unable to apply the new information at all, or they just completely stop paying attention to you and either dose off or start talking to someone else.
