Ten years ago I was with this woman and left her in a bad spot. Two weeks later she is pregnant. Her ex moved right in as soon as I left. Everyone said it was his child and he signed the birth rights. Ten years later I get a message via facebook on my first Father's day with my newborn daughter. That I am the childs biological father. I wanted to get a DNA test to find out the truth for the sake of this child. But my wife doesn't have my back and it is causing a lot of strain in our marriage. She thought that this was our first child together. I feel like I can't pursue anything because I think my ex will cause a lot of problems for us if I am the father and I don't want to upset my wife while she is so vulnerable. Any advice of how I should go about this. Anyone one know why someone would keep a secret like this for so long? Why would she tell this 10 year old boy when he is so young and she didn't even talk to me yet?
